These words are spoken at every Mass, a repetition of the words of the centurion to Christ, who did not feel worthy of the presence of the Lord yet asked of Him to heal his servant. We, though, humbly ask the Lord to heal our souls.
Domine, non sum dignus ut intres sub tectum meum, sed tantum dic verbo, et sanabitur anima mea.
Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof, but only say the word and my soul shall be healed.
