As St. Thomas Aquinas prayed before a crucifix in a chapel in Naples, the voice of Christ spoke to him from the crucifix: "You have written well of me, Thomas. What reward will you receive from me for your labor?”
St. Thomas answered Him with these words: "Non nisi te, Domine."
"Nothing except you, Lord."
That is the reward that we all seek: Nothing but the Lord.
